We do not sell your data.

If you give The Risk Receipt an email address on the waitlist, or later when you join, log in, or claim a seat, that address is for running your place in the room. It is not a product.

We will not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise hand your personal information to anyone else so they can use it for their own purposes. Not brokers. Not advertisers. Not partners. Not “just this once.” Not for any reason.

That includes your email, your pseudonym, your seat, and any notes that ever leave this device.

A seat needs a way back in. Today that is an email you type, or Google if you choose that door. You may use an address that does not carry your legal name. A pseudonym is the name the room sees.

Until accounts are stored with us, join and login stay closed. If you join the waitlist, that email is stored so we can write when a seat can be a real account. It is not a newsletter. Check-ins, urge notes, and redirect notes stay on this device. They are not sent to a partner seat, and they are not sent to us.

When membership billing and logins are connected, we will keep what is required to run the seat: an email, a pseudonym, which room you are in, and the fact of payment. We will not keep deposit amounts, balances, or sportsbook statements. Those belong on the worksheet you keep.

The worksheet is a PDF you fill in privately. We do not collect the answers. The family request is language you put on the table. We do not collect what you write there.

An invite link names a household and a seat. It is not a file on the other person. Notes do not cross.

Running a site requires other companies to host pages, send mail, and, when billing is wired, take a card. Those companies process data on our behalf so the room can exist. That is not a sale. They do not get to use your information as their list.

A waitlist email is stored with our host so we can write when a seat opens. A copy is sent to media@theriskreceipt.com. That is not a mailing list sold to anyone else.

We count how often the free PDFs are requested, as a number of clicks. We do not attach that count to your name, email, or worksheet answers.

If you continue with Google, Google will know you used this site, under Google’s own terms. That is a door you choose. It is not us selling you to Google.

A sale is a commercial choice. We do not make that choice.

If a court or other lawful authority requires disclosure, we may have to comply with what we actually hold. We will not volunteer your information, and we will not treat a legal demand as a reason to start selling it.

On this device you can leave the room and clear the local book from your profile. Notes on this device were not sent to a server.

A waitlist email is stored with us. Write from that same address to media@theriskreceipt.com and ask to be taken off. When accounts are stored with us, this page will say how to ask for deletion of a seat.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change. We will not use a quiet revision to start selling data. If we ever needed to share information in a new way to run the service, we would say so here first, in this language, not in a footnote.
